DSx86 v0.02 Alpha

Patrick Aalto ha aggiornato DSx86. Grazie a questo emulatore (che emula praticamente i computer) sarete in grado di giocare a vecchi giochi dos sul vostro ds.

DSx86 v0.02 Alpha Release Notes

This is just a minor incremental update to version 0.01, nothing
major has changed, but the opcode support has improved quite a bit
(though still is far from complete), and I have done other fixes and
improvements, based on the feedback I got from version 0.01.

The major changes are the following:

- Opcodes for INC, DEC, LEA, LES, LDS, TEST are fully supported.
- Opcodes for moving to/from segment registers are fully supported.
- All 8086 shift opcodes are supported (the 286 versions not yet).
- Most (but not all) of the other unsupported opcodes in the debug
logs I have received are now supported.
- I/O port handling has been improved, for example alternate Sound
Blaster I/O port accesses are now silently ignored.
- You can now reboot the shell while in the debugger by pressing the
'X' button (or using the bottom row 'X' command and 'v' for Enter).
- Leisure Suit Larry 3 and Solar Winds are now working better.

Istruzioni per l'installazione by HBDS:

Scaricate il file .nds
- Scaricate tutti questi file: ftp://jpsoft.com/4dos/files/ (è indispensabile il file 4dos.com, gli altri potete metterli per usare tutte le funzioni di 4dos)
- inserite questi file nella cartella /data/dsx86/4dos/ (va creata)
- scaricate questo file: http://dsx86.patrickaalto.com/DSx86.ini
- mettetelo nella cartella /data/dsx86/ (va creata)
- ora avviatelo, dirigetevi nella cartella contenente i giochi con il comando cd e avviate un gioco digitandone il nome

Compo Drunken Coders 2009

Drunkencoders.com ha annunciato la quinta competizione invernale tra coders di homebrew. Diversamente dalle altre volte, ques'tanno si ha tempo fino al Marzo 19, 2010 per inviare i propri homebrew per Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, Wii e GameCube. flubba ha aggiornato il suo emulatore delle console Sega a 8 bit (Master-System, GameGear, SG-1000, Othello Multivision) Changelog:

*Added option to turn off 3D display.
*Fixed color/saturation setting for SG/Coleco games.
*Fixed some bogus handling of the 3D display mode.
*Fixed "Perfect Sprites" mode, should now be used as default.
