OMG WTF

ArrPirate ha rilasciato la prma versione di OMG WTF un'homebrew game simile a Tetris ma con delle varianti. Ecco l'elenco delle feature:

Controls:

• Left, Right, or Down: Moves the block


• Start: While playing the game, this pauses the game and lets you quit the game at any time.

Features:

• Traditional Game Mode: This is the tradition Tetris-like game mode. It's simple. Just try to survive as long as possible by clearing lines on the screen.


• Clear Limit Mode: In this game mode you try to clear a certain amount of lines in as little time as possible.


• Time Limit Mode: In this game mode you try to clear as many lines as you can in a certain amount of time.


• Garbage Mode:In this game mode the play area is populated with 'garbage' pieces, red blocks that must be eliminated in order to make it to the next level.


• Music: There are around 20 jazz hits from the 1920s, my favorite music genre and era.

High Score: The high score is saved between games, giving you a goal to continue playing.

DSoS 0.6

Finalmente ragazzi un'altro HB made in Italy,  Aurelio ritorna in pista e ci sforna la nuova versione del DSos che ora puo' aprire JPEG, PNG, BMP (solo 24bit) e TXT e anche Homebrew!
Inoltre Aurelio sta lavorando per far partire anche file audio MP3, file immagini BMP da 8 a 16 bit ed un email client. Ecco le parole dell'autore:

How to use:
1) Copy DsOS folder and DsOS.nds in the root of your memory card.
2) Run DsOS.nds
The File Browser will be opened. You can open other apps(only Image and Text viewer, for now) by pressing Start.

LePatateInc rilascia una nuova versione di You Have To Burn The Rope DS, un porting del gioco sviluppato su piattaforma Flash You Have To Burn The Rope. Di seguito la lista delle feature:

It's a remake of the famous game on PC, You Have To Burn The Rope. Originaly, the game is pretty simple and take no time to finish it. What I wanted to do is recreate this game with additionnal functions to add some replayability :
-A map on the top screen or Double-Screen
-15 achievements
-10 game modificators
-You can skip the ending video
-A main menu and a pause button.
-You can move camera a little using the Touch Screen.

EZ-Vi FW12 Released!

Dopo il problematico Firmware di ieri eccone arrivare uno nuovo che risolve tutti i problemi. Ora le SDHC funzionano! Per l'installazione guardate il video.
Di seguito le note di rilascio:

This is not the first EZ5i update but it is potentially one of the more important. It allows the EZ5i to work under a DSi using the 1.4 firmware but doing so presently requires that the cart use a proper icon and text from a game.
Updating is as simple as running the ez5firmwreUP_V12.nds from the root of the EZ5i, naturally this requires something that works with the DSi like a DS, DS lite or DSi with firmware lower than 1.4, the whole procedure takes about 30 seconds although we do suggest that you charge your device and preferably power it from the wall as well.

A check was also added so you can no longer downgrade to an earlier firmware and brick your EZ5i (it should just hang if you try).

This is just the internal loader so you can continue using any kernel that works with the EZ5i.

[UPDATE] Scena in decadenza...

Non è un bel momento per la scena, Nintendo, ha introdotto con il Firmware 1.4 un nuovo sistema di sicurezza che controlla l'header che comprende Icona e Descrizione. Oggi che sembrava un bel giorno in cui EZ ha rilasciato un nuovo hack si scopre che i  produttori sono costretti a inserire negli update contengono materiale protetto da copyright e quindi illegale per bypassare il check. Con questo i pretesto le Flashcard potrebbero essere fatte mandare in tribunale.  Insomma non è proprio un bel momento e speriamo che si trovi una nuova alternativa, magari, mentre noi parliamo i produttori hanno già trovato un'alternativa nuova. Domani dovrebbe uscire il nuovo firmware per EZ-Vi e noi speriamo vi sia una alternativa... Incrociamo le Dita e mi raccomando non aggiornate per nessun motivo!

Japanese Hiragana & Katakana Review is a kana character review tool aimed at upper-beginner and intermediate Japanese students. The application allows the user to review their ability to recognize each of the 46 hiragana or katakana characters from visual and audio cues. Performance is ranked by speed, mistakes made and review difficulty. The application will also highlight the user's weakest kana characters for further study. Features include voice samples from native Japanese speakers, Rumble Pak and DS Motion support. Cute bonus: the application will greet you appropriately depending on the time of day!
